Chromatic Flavours - Episode 1: Red

We are thrilled to present the very first edition of Chromatic Flavors, a collaboration between BSAK Art Community and Plates & Mates: a sensory dialogue where color meets taste. Color shapes the way we see, feel, and understand the world. Throughout history, every hue has carried symbolic power—telling stories across cultures, artworks, and beliefs. With Chromatic Flavors, these stories transcend the visual and unfold through flavor. For our inaugural edition, we journey into the evocative world of red—a color once valued like gold and silver, and one that has profoundly influenced the course of art history. Hosted in the inspiring atmosphere of No Man’s Art Gallery, this event invites you to experience art beyond sight—through taste, aroma, and sensation. Our wonderful chefs from Chefs Collective Hilal Tayfun and Volkan Akdamar, are joining us all the way from Bodrum to craft a culinary interpretation of this chromatic universe, transforming color into an edible experience.
